A week spent on the backwaters of the southern Indian state Kerala, where the intertwined network of small canals determine everyday life of the local community. From fishing, bathing, catching the public ferry to go to work to doing the weekly laundry and washing dishes. Despite being connected to the public water network, many day to day chores still happen in on the backwaters. Water is tradition, is culture, is community and is life here in Allapuzah.
